Nick Jonas and Delta Goodrem call it quits after 9 months together.

It has been reported that The Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas and his girlfriend of 9 months, Singer Delta Goodrem, have broken up.

Baby Jonas has bailed on his older girlfriend (not that their age difference necessarily matters) for “career” reasons. They both probably need more rich people, showbiz time to be famous and very popular and such. Yes, that’s it! We believe that’s the reason for soooooo many breakups, especially now. Many of them need more fame time and extra wealth and pomp time to sew their rich oats (not sex, the money). Afterall, who can really truly be regularly famous, let alone uber famous, and carry on a real relationship! Get real guys! You all know they break up and fall out with each other quicker than any of us commoners…well sort of. Anyways, they need more space to be seen and get green! What about that?!

Delta’s rep released this statement on both their behalves (huh?):

“Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future.”

And what’s with this tag team crap?! They’re not even married!!! When most break up, they don’t then join hands singing Kumbaya and release statements! LOL! They just break up and may remain cordial, but won’t be all in each other’s faces and junk. Why is this? Well, because adults don’t usually have playdates with their exes, because, um, err, well, we’re adults and those are our exes!!! We broke up for a reason, even if it’s a nice reason (don’t be coy!)Don’t be surprised though if you see them holding hands again soon somewhere…friends…sure. 

Jonas has had six celebrity relationships all averaging less than 1 year. Jonas’ previous relationship with Miley Cyrus lasted 1.5 years and 1 month, respectively.

Conversely, Goodrem has a history of breaking the hearts of handsome men and her average celebrity relationship lasts 2.5 years. Goodrem’s previous celebrity relationship with Brian McFadden lasted 6.5years.
